How much is Personal Info?
 

It's good to know the policies that you agree to upon joining any site. Now we do normally allow people to state which country and state or province they come from because that's not too specific. Unless your from RI or some other place really small. Saying you live in NY state is ok, but not NYC. Same normally went with names. A first name or a last name are ok by themselves, but not both together. You can volunteer your gender, but please, don't ask people that. Some may want to keep that private. NEVER EVER ask or give account info! This includes D-names. Closest thing we allow to this is the user's profile fields. We allow only members to view them so it's not a public area that can be viewed by just anyone. NO posting of your school name or school sports team. I don't care if it's a common name or not. It could be used to stalk some of our younger members. Absolutly NO posting of personal pics which could be used to identify you or your location in any way shape or form! NO posting of age. Period! You may instead post that you are a pre-teen, teen, or adult.

Now, I'm going to tell everyone that Nick has a real pet peeve about posting personal info. He hates it almost as much as spammers. But this is what Nick considers being fair without giving out too much personal info. So these are our basic guidelines in which we follow for the forums and chat.

"Personal Information"- This site has children present therefore asking for or volunteering personal information is not allowed. Personal Info consists of Real Life Names, Age, Gender, Location, Email Address exchanges, Instant messenger ID's, D-Names, Password/Account Information, School Information and other similar details. This also applies to posting personal pictures of the users, their schools, homes (that include their exact locations), etc.

This applies to all forums, threads, posts, private messages, userpages, profiles, avatars and signatures. We here at PixieHollowForums.com and ToonTownCentral.com strive to keep the environment as safe as possible for our users.

This includes sites like My Space.com, Xanga.com, or any type of social sites that allow personal information or inappropriate material that does not fall under the G-rating rules of this site. Any site that is not officially approved by the PixieHollowForums Staff is not allowed to be advertised on PixieHollowForums.com.

Profiles may be checked for content periodically & if deemed inappropriate will be removed and will be dealt with on a case by case basis.
