Hiya, fairies!

I was wondering...has anyone of you gotten into Pottermore? It is s site that is a Unique Online Experience. It's about Harry Potter and you get selected into a House and learn Spells and Travel along with Harry Potter.

I found out about the site last year and I had sent my mail in order to get picked for the Beta Game. But, alteast a Million people wanted to enter and they had to put a Magic Quill inorder to choose people. It was basically a question about the books and you have to answer to enter the Beta.
The Quill used to appear and disappear and you have to answer it when it appears with the question. I really wanted to get on since I was there ever since before the Beta.

Officially Open!

But, the Magic Quill disappeared whenever I went there.
Most of the Beta-Members are planning to create a new account since many of them are not pleased with their teams.

I really want to get on it! I thought that my Fellow Forumers too will be excited to be one of the First to Enter the game when it opens.
I was a little bit surprised to know many of the fairies don't know about this game.Well..sorry for ranting, I couldn't control my excitement.
I checked the Site rules of both the sites and I am sure that this is allowed.

Let's hope that they actually intend to open in April. They have been delaying the opening day for months now!
I don't know how or why, but a lot of my school friends have a Beta account (I guess news spreads fast on FB).
I've watched a preview of the game, and I'm not sure if I would enjoy it or not, but I am very curious to find out what it is all about.

Yeah, me too, Onion. But, we can't tell them anyting either, people will go to any lengths to get inside Pottermore. I heard that there were troubles because a couple of people were selling Pottermore accounts in Amazon.
It is still in Beta, so, they are delaying the days.

I am a beta member, got in on the 3rd day. They do seem to be set on opening in april, I think they have to now if they don't want some major fan anger. It should be worth the wait though, currently it's not the best it can be but they are adding a lot more to it in the near future. I myself, will creating a second account as I got into Gryffindor and I am the least brave person I know lol.

Haha Julie, I'm leaning more towards Ravenclaw (straight-A student and all that ). I'm not brave enough *shrug* to be in Gryffindor, not evil enough *whimpers* to be in Slytherin, and not kind enough *cackles* to be in Hufflepuff.

I answered the fourth day question to get my place for beta test, but it took seems like forever to wait for the final entry emails (took 2 and half months to arrive). I get a kick out of my name It reminds me of Luna Lovegood and I always want to sing it tune of dancing queen song. It NifflerQueen137.

Pottermore is interactive with the books. The illustration are nice and detailed but last I check only book 1 is open still. They need to add some sounds to sections it too quite. I got sorted in to ( queue the evil music) Slytherin. I was surprised I wanted and was aiming for Ravenclaw myself. My sorting was interrupted the site went down for updates in middle of it so never quite sure if those question I’ve answered in the first round were added to question the second time. Oh well too late now.

The thing that I dislike the most is potion making. There a lot of precision needed. Also takes a lot of time and I really mean that you do the first couple steps then need to leave it to simmer like 80 min or more depends on the recipe. There need to be better instruction, and labels of what’s what when your mouse moves over items. Can’t tell you how many times I thought I grab the right ingredient and it end up triggering my wand to tab the cauldron and completely messing up the potion. If you make one wrong move your cauldron blow up and you get a fail need to start all over.

I read the first book but my mom doesn't want me to read the others yet. It said that they only want 1 million people during the Beta and that's why I couldn't join it. I think it would've been fun but I can't now, oh well. I hope ya'll have fun!

Ugh I entered my e-mail sometime in August 2011. I missed every Quill date unfortunately. The time range wasn't in mine; for me it'd be late at night.
I only got the welcome e-mail and that was it. Absolutely nothing after that. Now it's March of 2012. I feel like I can't even wait another month -_-

I entered my email as well (out of curiosity) but I haven't done anything since. I guess I will wait until April like the rest of you to see what it's all about! I'm also a very huge HP fan, along with my daughter. We've both read all the books several times!
