Your First Collection?
After the Hollow closed, I've been recalling different memories during my time in the game, especially my first impressions.
When I first flew into the game, the best surprise for me were the outfit collections in the shops. I would have never realised how beautiful clothing can be that was inspired by nature if I hadn't found Pixie Hollow. That was the time when the Iris, Strawberry, Citrus and Lemon Balm gowns were released at Summit Style. Now that I look back, I feel lucky to have been able to fly into Pixie Hollow during 2010, as at that time there were not as many outfits inspired by the Mainland. The outfits in the later years had their own perks and were very fashionable, but it was nice to be able to stylise your fairy for her to look more "natural". So, I guess now is your turn to share: Think back to the beginning of your adventure.. What was the first outfit that you purchased in the Hollow? Mine was the Lemon Balm collection, and it is still one of my favorite outfits to this day.

Jingles, I don't think I could remember even if I tried!
I do remember loving tailoring. It was because of it that I created my first leafy skirt in a nice shade of autumnal red. It also helped me to create my first pair of pajamas--a Snow White Daisy Wrap (back in the days before tops showing your bellybutton was "banned") and a Daisy Pink Lily Petal Skirt. As for shop collections... I think I'll need to find an old video for reference. Last edited by popcorn1234; 02-18-2014 at 09:57 PM. |

Wow, what a great idea that you have about PH clothes. I'd try to help you about it.

It was that basic fairy outfit in Brook's Basics. I even found a screen shot that has Gloria wearing her first outfit. I also remember the first headpiece I bought (don't remember why I do, but whatever): it was the Lemon Balm headpiece.

I remember Twi's first outfit as a member in PH. I became a member in
late December 2009, so all of the clothes were festive. Twi bought the Winter Fuzzy Formal Top,Skirt and belt in and the Poinsettia headpiece and boots. And Twi wore it ever holiday season since that first one. ~Twi

I joined in 2007 (my first fairy's name was Crystal ) and took a break while they made it into Pixie Hollow (it was past beta when I came back), but I didn't get a membership until Christmas Day in 2009. If I remember correctly, the first outfit I bought was Rosetta's Adventure Outfit. I bought it for Kiki and she wore it often!

This is a great idea, Alexia! I also have fond memories of shopping in 2010, when I first started playing Pixie Hollow. Unfortunately, I wasn't a member until early June.
Here are the pieces of the first outfit I've ever bought. The first of countless dozens! |

My first outfit was either Ballerina Fashion, Tie Dye Dazzle, or Garden-Talent Camp Gear.
On a different note, it's almost been 5 months since the Hollow closed. Wow.

Oh Gosh, I joined in 2008 and I don't recall, but I remember when you could see your very own fairy flying as they were opening a new page ... Ahhh what fun!

My first collection was either the Animal Talent Gear of 2010, or The denim jeans. I always love jeans!
It brings back a ton of fun with this. Perhaps we should include our first furniture item? I think mine was the Stuffed Camp Bunny. Was obsessed with it. I kept it till September 19th I used to donate my furniture when I thought I was "done" with it. Kinda regret that now. |
