June your fairy is beautiful, exactly what they should have chosen!!!!! so disapointing that they only picked the same old thing. love your sash really cool, it's a shame pixie hollow does'nt offer things like that anymore, i have my fingers crossed for you in the second listing. I also entered my fairy, very foolish of me to have tailored for so long for she was not chosen oh well. good luck to you

I wish they had posted rules at some point. Since it appears that fairies such as mine were disqualified for clickables. If I had known that it would have made a difference, I would have done a different outfit without the "special" items that they won't pick.

I agree that is sad that so many picked were so close with just different colors. Not different styles. Then what do you do? Just pick by favorite color? Okay so 30 people like a form of blue and 12 like a form of red. Same outfit, just blue wins by default of preferred color.

Not trying to sound sour grapes, but some of us would have chosen differently if we knew there were items that were NOT going to be picked and then made sure not to use them.

I agree, Violet. (By the way, I saw your outfit, and it is stunning!) They should have said right up front that clickables weren't supposed to be part of the outfits, that secret codes were allowed, and that they didn't intend to pick any of the really old or rare stuff because they want to keep all the goodies to themselves. (I'm beginning to think that I wouldn't put it past them!) Always pays to eliminate confusion right from the get go.

TexasGirl8, your outfits are very pretty!! I especially like the pink one; all of the pieces go together really well! I hope you make it on the next listing of fairies, provided there will be another listing. Sure hope there is!

Tatinaf, same thing happened to me with the tailoring! I went way overboard. Am still hoping that the contest isn't over yet (they did say they would take last minute entries into consideration and they also posted my comment which surprised me, so we'll see.) I'd love to see a picture of the outfit you designed if you have the chance to upload it into an album here!

Why is everyone complaining about them being simple clothes? I just don't understand why everyone is so upset.

Here is Sweet Pea's EXACT words. Nowhere does it say they will be for sale in the shops....

What she meant by "featured" ~ is displayed for sale in one of the shops.

Why would the winning entries be featured in the shops if the fashions were not going to be for sale?!?

The reason why I'm doubtful that they'll be featured as the shopkeeper's outfits is because there would be no way to say, "Hey! Fairy XYZ designed the outfit Brook is wearing!" If it was a collection, it would be really easy to say, "The Blahblah Collection by Sputter Ramblingbrook." (Just pulled the name off of the top of my head, lol!!) So, since it does specifically say that the winners' names will definitely be displayed along with the outfit, the only way to do it would be with a collection -- and every collection that's been released in the shops to date is one that fairies (with memberships) could buy. That's my logic, anyway, so take it for what you will!

I see what you mean. But I don't think those physical outfits will be for sale. Maybe since they are INSPIRING outfits, they will use your outfit to create clothes of similar style? I find it hard to believe that they would sell the same things over again (like I bet a lot of people used stuff from shops) I don't know... They should have been clearer on the prize. I guess we'll have to wait and see!

Geesh, go take a look they chose the winners. So, so unfair I think! That whole list thing gave them an advantage. To be honest, I wasn't really feeling these outfits. I mean they are good but I have seen better here on the forum.

I gotta say I'm not very inspired by these outfits.

At least maybe by the time they're in shops this summer I may not remember how disapointed I am now. Unless of course those are the only new things they feature for summer!?

I still think all those outfits in general were boring & run of the mill. WE put together some awesome outfits here. I also feel it was unfair about the clickables. I specifically chose them to use because they are different & much more inspiring then anything on Pixie Hollow. I worked very hard & put a lot of thought into them & I know some of you sewed like mad fairies to create original outfits too. Bahh Humbug~~
