I'm a fan of the books; I like Vidia's the best, after the two GCL wrote (did you hear she has a third coming out this summer?). Vidia may be mean, but given the way everyone but Prilla treats her, I can rather understand her view.

I just found a new fairy book at Walmart. The World of Fairies: At the Dawn of Pixie Hollow. It is a beautiful book every page (160 of them)a beautiful illustration of Pixie Hollow. It covers all of Neverland the Seasons the Queen the Ministers the different Talents The Pixie Dust Tree Fairy Mary the meadows favorite things and much more! So have you ever mused about fairies? Imagined places north of Neverland? Wondered where Pixie Dust came from? or questioned how the seasons changed then this is the book for you!

I've only read one fairy book that I can think of. I bought Beck and the Great Berry Battle at a book fair a few years back. I have since read it about 3 times. It was actually quite good. That's what got me to like Beck and got me all excited to meet her and everything: cause I idolize her from that book.

Myka Finds Her Way

I read "Myka Finds Her Way" but it did not end the way I was expecting.

I read that book too Sahara! It's by R. J. Anderson and she just came out with the sequel called Wayfarer. I haven't read the second one but I definitely liked the first book.
Here are some more that I have enjoyed:
~Fairies of Dreamdark: Black Bringer by Laini Taylor.
~Dreamdark: Silksinger by Laini Taylor bk 2
~Fairies of Nut Folk Wood by Barb Bentler Ullman. That one is very cute and I think there is a sequel coming.
~The Faerie Path by Frewin Jones (more a teenage book there are 5 books so far I think)
~The Hunter's Moon by O. R. Melling (there are a few in this series and I think this is for older teens)
~Faerie Wars by Herbie Brennan (there are 4 books in this and it's more for older teens but it's done with a dry wit which is what I enjoy!)
~Fablehaven by Brandon Mull *very good series! has fairies in it
~The Tree Shepherd's Daughter by Gillian Summers *about 4 in the series
~Artemis Fowl by Eoin Colfer has fairies in it

I could go on and on as I'm a faerynista but I will stop. Your local library should carry these.

I like a bunch of faery books but they tend to be more urban or adult fantasy so probably not appropriate here since they tend to be more gritty. I'd be happy to recommend some more in PM.

I have checked out a few of the Disney fairy books and they are cute. The library didn't have too many but I did enjoy the ones I did check out. I really liked Gail Carson Levine books about the Disney fairies. I really enjoy her other books as well.
