Well here I go. This is my first story so I hope you guys like it!

Chapter 1-Why Did This Happen?

There was smoke all around. Outside, fairies were screaming for some reason. As I looked closer, I realized that Pixie Hollow was on fire.
"Aahhh!" I screamed as the fire circled around me.
I jolted up forward in my bed with sweat on my forehead. It was just a dream,I thought. But when I looked out the window, it was like my dream all over again. Fairies were screaming and flying upward. Fire was blazing outside. I flew out of my bed and out the door.

"Linythe, go get the other water fairies NOW! I'll be alright!" my best friend, Faith, yelled.

I got all the other water fairies other than myself and we put out the fire. Lots of people were injured by the fire. I saw one with a baby blue dress. As I got closer, I realized who it was.

" Oh. My. God. FAITH!!" I screamed with tears in my eyes.

One of the doctor fairies came over to me. She looked sorrowfully at me.

"Will she be alright?" I asked, worried.

"I'm so sorry. Your friend had some serious injuries. It might take her two or three weeks to fully recover. We hope that we won't fail our tries to heal her faster or else..." the doctor fairy said.

I gasped. As the doctor started to walk away, I cried even harder.

"Why did this have to happen?" I said mournfully as I banged my head against a piece of wood.
