Okay, now I feel super bad and very embarrassed I for one didn't even want that to happen, but somehow that got into my mind that that was what was going to happen.... I feel so bad, I'm just going to delete that segment of my post....

Aw, I'm so sorry Hazel. I didn't mean to embarrass you or make you feel bad. I don't blame you for coming to that conclusion either. I only wanted to put it out there that I was uncomfortable with the idea of human experimentation.
Please don't feel bad! It's my fault, really. Rachel, Eclipse can definitely be friends with Faon. Last edited by Night Wish; 02-12-2014 at 01:06 AM. |

Here's my form.
Name: Jessamine (Jess for short) Gender: Female Age: 15 Descendant of: Princess Jasmine Where are you from: Agrabah Where are you now: the Enchanted Forest Appearance: Attachment Personality: Strong, outgoing, determined, brave. At first, she's unused to the magic of Estoriana and resents her parents for making her go there, but eventually learns to love that world and her new friends Pet: Could she have a tiger? Other: Her family moved back to Estoriana after all the villains were banished (Jessamine means "jasmine flower" in some language I forget, so I thought it would be cool. Is Princess Jasmine already taken? If so, sorry... maybe we can be sisters?) Last edited by Blaze_of_Glory; 05-20-2014 at 05:03 AM. |

Thats just fine Glory! Someone had Jasmine in the prequel RP, but she quit a long time ago, so Jasmine is open for you! I always like having meaningful names too

I am SO excited for this role-play!!! I will post later today!!
Ok...I know I said I was done...but I edited my forms again. Nothing too drastic, just little things to Janelle's personality. (I tried writing a post for her and it wasn't working with her old personality.) I am done changing things for sure now, though. (Rachel, do you still want Rose and Liliana to visit Layla and Janelle? ) At a table near one of the large windows in our library, I sit with my chin propped up by my hands. My mother and I are in the castle’s large library for our weekly lessons, but I’ve become bored and I am finding it hard to concentrate. To entertain myself, I am trying to count how many books are on each shelf before the lesson is over. So far it hasn’t been going well. The walls (my guess is they are about forty feet tall) all have shelves in them that are full of books, complete with staircases to get to the top shelves. I think I’ve set an impossible goal for myself… “Janelle,” a gentle voice pulls me from my thoughts. Not moving from my current position, I glance towards my mother. She is standing beside me, holding an unlit candle. “Light it.” She says, carefully setting it down on the table in front of me. These aren’t ordinary lessons. Just a few months ago, mother finally agreed to teach me some magic. She has already taught me how to create a fire with a wave of my hand, but still, she makes me do it every day we have our lessons. “Why do I have to do this again? I already know how to.” I sigh, waving my hand and lighting the candle. “I know you do,” she smiles. “But it’s good to practice.” After that, we finally continue to the next skill she is teaching me, how to move things using my mind. “Watch me, Janelle.” Mother says. I turn and watch fixedly as my mother holds both of her hands out in front of her and at a chair across from us. As she slowly lifts her hands up, the chair begins to rise. “It takes a lot of concentration at first,” she states, not shifting her gaze from the chair. “But after practicing it over and over, you will be able to do it without much thought.” She steadily lowers her hands again, and the chair returns to its original spot. “Now, I know you’ve become impatient, but try it again.” She says, turning to me and smiling warmly. I hop out of my chair and stand beside my mother, exhaling loudly. “It just never works for me.” “You aren’t being patient enough, it takes time.” Mother says. “Try it slowly, and concentrate.” I lift my hands in front of me and stare at the chair intently. Come on, lift! Please do it this time!! I think as I begin to raise my hands. To my surprise, the chair begins to rise as well. I smile and begin to speed up. “Don’t go so fast!” Mother warns. “I know what I’m doing!” I snap. The chair immediately falls to the ground on its side with a loud bang that echoes through the entire library. I jump when several books fall in front of me from the shelf a couple feet up. Mother picks up the books. “I’m not so sure about that. You went out of control and because of it,” she holds up one of the books and tries to hold back a smile. “You’ve just killed a few books.” Oh, you think this is so funny. Anger builds up inside of me and I have to force myself not to say anything. Mother must notice this. “You’ll get it, dear, don’t worry. Our lessons are over for today, you may go to the garden now.” Without hesitation, I hurry out of the library, through the halls, and outside the castle to our garden. I smile when I see my father is there waiting for me. Usually right after my “magic lessons”, I practice sword fighting with my father. He is the descendant of one of Robin Hood’s merry men and his father (who was taught by his father, who was taught by his father, and so forth.) taught him all he knows about combat. I find these lessons to be a very good stress reliever. “Ahh, there you are!” he grins. “How did your lessons go today?” “I’d rather not talk about it.” I say bitterly. “Alright then,” he replies, giving me weird look before handing me a sword. “Shall we begin our lesson?” (Janelle does not get along with Layla at times due to how similar they are; they can both be short-tempered at times. ) Last edited by Misty_12; 03-05-2014 at 09:12 PM. |

I'm going to post this under spoiler tabs because I already wrote it a few months ago. But we were still working on OUAT at the time, so a lot of you probably didn't read it... so if you didn't, under the spoiler tab is the story of Calissa's birth, told by Ivory.
Spoiler for Calla's birth - Ivory's POV:
And here is my real first post! Everyone meet Calla. Everyone's eyes on me. The nobles of Court, all dressed up in their finery, dripping with jewels and expensive silk. And they're all looking at me. I began cursing Ivory under my breath. The Snow Queen stood, watching my expectantly. Seeing the evil eye I was sending her way, she just winked at me. "But I... I'm not... I can't..." I stammered. Jeez, Calla, pick the best possible moment to sound completely incoherent! "Don't be silly! You're a great dancer." Annalise, Princess of Arendelle and Ivory's cousin, smiled at me encouragingly. Well, what am I to do, wait for Her Majesty to issue a royal command? I slowly made my way to the center of front of the Great Hall. The music began to play, a soft, haunting melody. Immediately, I felt my awkwardness slip away. My body knew exactly how to move, how to bend and flow in time to the music. I closed my eyes and ignored the audience, the stares, the anticipation. Dancing was the only time where I truly felt graceful. My long, light brown hair flowed behind me like a gleaming curtain. My feet felt light as air, barely touching the ground. The series of complicated leaps, spins and twirls came as naturally as breathing to me. All too soon, the lovely threads of music faded away, and with it the euphoria that came with my dance. I came to a stop and faced the nobles once more. And just like that, Lady Calissa was gone, and I was plain old Calla once more. The crowd clapped and cheered for my performance. I felt my grin split across my face. They liked it! They actually liked my dancing. I took a curtsey, beaming the whole time. "Beautiful job, Lady Calissa!" A woman called out from the crowd. "Thank you! I know I'm not the best in Arendelle or anything - no, I didn't meant just Arendelle, I'm not the best in any kingdom, not just... " I laughed awkwardly. Gosh, I hated my way of tripping over words. "What I meant was, I try my best." ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ "You were amazing out there, Calla," the Queen told me later, after the banquet. "Thanks." I pulled a face. "I still don't appreciate how you forced me into doing it, Your Majesty." Ivory rolled her eyes. "Whatever. It got the job done, anyway. And you know you can call me Iv, right?" I didn't respond to that. In court, I always called her by her official title. It was awkward enough calling the Queen of my kingdom by her first name while we were alone. I was NOT going to start with the nickname thing. Not that I didn't like and admire Ivory. When she's been two years younger than me, she'd been one of the descendants to free this world from the tyrannical rule of the villains. She'd also had to master those notoriously volatile powers over ice and snow, and become a leader, a queen. But the thing was, she created me. I was born of her icy magic, which was why I had some control over ice and snow myself. What, did that make her my mother? Did I have two mothers? Was it possible to have two mothers? Okay, I knew my mom wasn't my biological parent, but still. Ivory didn't look any older than me. I had no idea why she aged so slowly, but it'd be intensely awkward to... Not even going to go there. "Would you like to come to Never Land with me?" Ivory asked suddenly. I frowned. "Never Land?" That was random. "My sister, Dove, is sailing in for a visit, so my sisters and I are having another reunion. You'd like Astrid, Lillie and the Lost Boys. And Dove has a daughter, my niece Sparrow, who's just about your age." I shrugged. "Sure, why not." (Is that okay, Liri, Hazy, and Misty? You guys want a sisters reunion? Hazy, I made Calla's character kind of more like Anna from Frozen... do you mind? I'm really sorry, I didn't notice until I read back over my post! Rachel, do you mind updating the character forms at the beginning of this thread? Misty changed her character's name to Janelle, and Hazel and Glory both made new characters. I will post for Saige later today or tomorrow. ) Last edited by Night Wish; 05-19-2014 at 06:54 PM. |
