New Pixie Hollow movie the Great Games

I was watching the new movie Tangled last night with my daughter
when we saw an advertisement for a new Pixie Hollow movie called The Great Games (I believe from memory)
I believe to be released this Fall 2011.
We are excited and cannot wait till it's released.
Just thought I would let everyone know if you don't already

The only reason I don't like the title it reminds of the Hunger Games. But it sounds interesting, because I though Tinkerbell and The Mysterious Winter Woods were coming out THIS fall..

I thought that it was schedule for next Fall 2012. I have my Tangled DVD, but I have not watched it because I was waiting for my husband to join me. I may watch it tonight to see the previews. This is the first time I have heard of this film. I may have to do some research.

Edit: I saw the preview! I think Tabby was in a couple of the scenes, too. How exciting for her. The film is going to be released this fall on the Disney Channel! That's not what I was expecting. But, it sounds kind of fun. I wonder if we can get involved in it somehow?

I also think it is a tv series or special...not a Tinkerbelle "movie". Sounds like we may be able to interact somehow Tangled was awesome too!

I just bought Tangled have not watched it yet.
Will have to to see the preview,
a TinkerBell tv series would be great.
I have always loved the disney animated tv series, like
Aladdin, Hercules (my fave), The Little Mermaid etc...

I just bought Tangled and there was a preview for the movie: Tinkerbell and the Pixie Hollow Games. It mysteriously said on the screen at the end " A Disney Channel event Fall 2011". Is it going to be played on TV before it's release?? Ah! Who knows now ... Read below detaild info fron the Neverpedia:

"Tinker Bell and the Pixie Hollow Games has been scheduled as the fourth of the animated direct-to-DVD Tinker Bell films, due in early October 2011.

Originally planned to be the fifth and final film of the series for release in 2012, it was tentatively titled Race Through the Seasons, which a Disney press release described as follows:

In this latest adventure, all the fairy talents compete in a challenging and traditional leap year race through the four seasons of Pixie Hollow. With Tinker Bell's help, Clank and Bobble enter the race and all the hopes of the Tinkers rest on their shoulders. But the pressures of competition and Bobble's desire to impress a beautiful lightning fairy threaten Clank and Bobble’s longtime friendship. In the end, will Bobble place winning a race above losing a best friend?
The film's release was apparently moved forward to take advantage of anticipation of the 2012 Olympic Games, which will be held in London. Although the film series' original release schedule had them coming out at intervals of less than a year (with this one scheduled for Leap Day 2012), they have instead been coming out in roughly 12-month intervals, which would have meant this one would have come out after the Olympics, which would make it less timely. So this one is leap-frogging [[Tinker Bell and the Mysterious Winter Woods] and becoming the fourth film to be released. It's unclear whether there are changes to the film coinciding with the change in title and timing."

But now they have time wo whip us up a new Winter meadow before the Winter movie comes out :P

Aw Bobble falls in love! That's so cute! This is gonna my favorite Tinkerbell movie! But its sad that they might lose their friendship.
Am glad they are like the main characters.

Thanks for the info, though! I'm just so curious the 'Tinkerbell and the
Mysterious Winter Woods' will release later after um, 'Tinkerbell &
the Pixie Hollow Games right?..But pretty cool, fairies participanted in games
and challenge each other, this sure sounds like a "clone" of The Great Games.

I just noticed that Tinkerbell and the Mysterious Winter Woods preview is ALSO on the Tangled disk! They just changed the date from 2011 to COMING SOON.
