I Already Did!
Okay, well, this happens every two days or so. I'll be flying around the lovely Hollow when the screen turns into a ! sign and goes all white and boots me out of the Hollow. At first, I thought they were tinkering. Then, it goes to a screen and says something like, "Aww, jingles! You have to update your Flash Player." which I was okay with, as I knew it probably needed to be updated. So I go and update it and it says that it's fine. I get back on and then the very next day, it says the same exact thing! "You need to update your Flash Player." That made me mad because updating your Flash Player makes your computer slower and slower and slower... especially if you have to keep updating it! It hasn't happened a third time, but if it does, I am going to report it. Has this happened to anyone else?

Aww Sugarplum, I'm sorry to hear you're having so much trouble. I haven't had any problems with Flash except it crashing and me having to restart my web browser. But for the past few days I have had trouble logging in the first time. I'll come on Google Chrome, it'll tell me something like Oops! There was a problem connecting to the hollow and give me a quit option. I'll refresh and same message except instead of quit it'll say reconnect. I'll do that a couple times and same message. Then I'll go to Mozilla Firefox and log in just fine. I'll go back on Google Chrome, same message, refresh then it'll let me in. You might also want to try clearing your cache and history as well. A couple weeks ago, it happened to me three times, but not every single day. I didn't try to stop it but it eventually did stop. I'm sorry to hear you're having that problem too. I have no idea what causes it.

That hasn't happened to me but then I just updated my flash player too, I don't know if it helped or not. lol Olivia

I've had that happen to me a few times lately.
But my flash driver has already been updated. I just refresh my comp and it works again. It happens to me quite often when they update the Hollow for the new things. The funny thing is, it only happens when I pull out my 2nd fairy Kylee. My other 2 fairies never have that happen to them. I update my flash driver every time an update pops up on my screen, so my flsh driver is always up to date. |

Thanks for your help everyone. When I refresh, it just goes right back to that page, but maybe I need to just exit the page and then come back.

This has happened to me before, but only twice - I usually just refresh the page, go back to playing, and everything's fine.
Hope you can find a solution |

Wow! ...this seems to be happening to a lot of fairies lately who are using Google Chrome or Internet Explorer. I use Firefox and this problem has NEVER happened to me. I get booted from the hollow where I get the "Reconnect" option button but I believe that is a Pixie Hollow issue.
Updating your Flash Player may help? ( as it has already been previously posted in another thread ). Mine is set to update "Automatically" so I don't usually have to many problems. ~Lily Last edited by McKenzieO1; 11-14-2012 at 01:34 PM. Reason: added to post |
