Rose,
I think we should get together before the Carnival sometime,
and then do the last minute details at the Pre-party.
We could always have stories where we go on them alone, or together.
But, the ones where we're together we have to practice,
since we'll most likely want to switch off telling the story.
It depends on the M&G, but if we do that,
then we can tell whoever wasn't there the last time what they missed.
And, I forgot to say about the time. I think I can make both of them.
But I do have this convention thing in May, so I'm not sure. I'll have to check.

I was just thinking about my other fairy, Crabapple, and it came to mind.

This is wonderful Rose! I was just in the Hollow, thinking of what I could be. But I came up with too many designs to choose from! Worse, I took pictures of them ALL. I am going to try and figure out how to make an album for them, so you can see. But here is the list.

Cardinal Bumblebee
Ballet Dancer (I don't know if that would work, but I love the outfit)

I definitely think Muddytoes should be an explorer, though I must admit I have no idea what that means. But I think if your toes are muddy, it means you have been exploring in the puddles!

So cool. And Dawn sent in a subsequent comment, detailing that it was a May Day Carnival and asking if Kit had any ideas about Maypoles, so they have even more info!! And chances are, considering they were on the scene to take pictures for the Events page within the first minute of the Pre-Party for the first Carnival, they probably already knew about it even before I sent in the comment. Coolness.

I agree with you, Molly, on wanting to keep the info on the stories easy to access in case people can't make the M&G. Hmm, I wonder if we should start a separate thread for this somewhere, though, to keep from making this thread too long? Don't want to clutter up the boards, but it's something to think about. Maybe the Pixie Tales board? Ahh, I don't know. Any ideas, guys??

Oooh, I LOVE your album, Melody! Had oodles of fun flipping through it; your designs are fantastic! I love how you not only create costumes, but characters, too. You've inspired me to get pictures taken of some of my own Carnival characters and put them in an album, along with their backstories. I also really like your idea of tree fairies -- what a cool idea!!

Lol, all you have to do as an explorer is stand around looking cool and tell stories about all of your fantastic adventures!! If you need help, just ask Molly to lend you a hand -- she's a pro. () Btw, I think Muddytoes will make an excellent explorer.

One more thing before I sign off for the night -- I'm thinking we'll figure out the final decisions on when and where by the 28th -- that'll give people enough time to weigh in on everything, and enough time to get the word out before the day of the Carnival on when and where it will be. So, if you have any thoughts, let me know!!

I don't think there was anything else I needed to pass on (but then, I'm probably forgetting something ), so I'm going to hit the hay. Talk to you all tomorrow!! Am super excited about this Carnival; it's gonna be great!

I think we should do that, just because this thread would be a little chaotic.
Although, if we do switch off, we need to practice that.
Or we can put something like *Story Switches off to Flix*.

Also, I'm pretty sure I can make it, I think the convention is on the 12th.
Or sometime around that, but I should be able to make it. :]

Great Carnival ideas as usual!

Hope to make it for a bit no matter which day it is and already I can't decide on a costume. Was animals last time, so want to change it up.

A side note-think of the size of the meadows.

For instance Cherryblossom Heights is awfully small and very Pink.

Dewdrop vale has the water and lots of room to spread out!

Treetop bend would show most colors except browns well and is fairly large as well. It just doesn't seem that springlike to me. lol

Great job as usual to Roseheart and all the planner fairies!

Ooh, that's a great idea about the belly dancers, Lenora! Although maybe we should just shorten the role to just "dancers" since it would cover all the different styles of dancing. And I love the costumes in your album! The Princess costume is especially great. I'm gonna have to update the first post of this thread really soon with the new ideas for characters y'all have had!

Oh thistles, I didn't think about fairies in England when I was planning the times! Well, London is six hours ahead from Eastern Standard Time (time zone for the east coast of the U.S.), so the Carnival would start at 2 am where you are. I sure hope that works for you!!

Good points, Violet!! I'm thinking it will probably be in Dewdrop Vale, since it fits most of the criteria. Cherryblossom Heights, despite its Pinkness, is also a good choice because of its flowery appearance and May Day is largely a flower festival, but because of its smallness and lack of obvious places to arrange people, I'm thinking that it will be a second option meadow in the case of the Carnival getting too big and needing to move half of it to another place. That's probably an unlikely scenario, but hey, it's always good to be prepared.

Oh, and if you're having a hard time picking between costumes, keep in mind you can switch costumes and characters as much as you like! Personally, I'm going to be hopping from role to role like crazy, lol!
