I got the High Score Badge for both my fairies the first time I played it with each of them, but both times I had to give up on level 29. It's so annoying to not be able to figure it out, especially when there's no way to lose and you can only end the game by quitting. Such a disappointing feeling!

Sunbeam Bend has quickly become my favorite game in Pixie Hollow!
The only advise I can think of is if you are stuck on a level, try playing while listening to classical music! I was stuck on level 30, but after I switched the music I was listening to, I was able to finish the level in less than five minutes! It's amazing what effects music can have on the brain! |

Ooh, ooh! I have a tip!
When there are Light Splitters, you have to use ALL of them - there won't be any left over in the end. And without them, you will only have one beam of light. Hmm, how should I describe this... example! Eg. There is one white light, one blue light and two red lights to fill. You only have one red gem (and one blue gem). You receive one 'T' light splitter. So obviously, the light splitter will be used for the red lights, to make TWO red light beams. Aahhh, did that make sense? O_o Edit: Ahaha, no problem! ^^ Last edited by Onionleaf; 09-08-2011 at 01:51 AM. |

Have you seen?? They have doubled the amount of ingredients you receive as a reward!
Last time I played, I only received 21 roses - now it's 43! Last edited by Onionleaf; 02-19-2012 at 06:32 AM. Reason: fixed image |

Yippie! Thanks for the tips, I relaxed and tried it once again and got the high score at level 28 without any problem! I had tried it a couple of times before and thought I'd never get it, but today somehow it was a breeze!

I use this as my talent mastery leveling game. I've met alot of pixies and sparrow men who play Gem Juggle. But this is kind of (although it's a bit slower) an easier route. I play up to level 17, and stop. I get 100 talent points each time. Iris, you're right about not as much ingredients, but I think it's worth it. I'm almost level 28 in talent mastery, and I've been using this process ever since Sunbeam Bend came out.

Ooh, almost up to level 28 You must be a hard worker!
Good luck! (I used Acorn Cookies in Practice Baking for my talent level-ups since I needed by baking badges & the seasonal ones (while they are still earnable) used to give quite a lot of Talent Points!) |

I figured that it might be nice to update this thread a little.
True, the game is now more difficult, but there are still a few tips I have figured out that have helped me already. First, I would like to say that the ingredients rewards are now back down to a miserable amount. (30 Roses, 40 Buttercups and 60 Raspberries for a 150,000+ score)

Thanks so much for the tips Alexia -- and I'm very disappointed that they lowered their ingredient rewards again

I have screenshots of all the completed medium level game boards. There are 15 board options for the medium level! I thought of posting them, but thought I'd put it out there and ask first if it would be helpful to anyone? Or maybe there is a different way of sending them to those who are interested. Don't wanna be a spoiler. They would be in thumbnails anyway. But, just thought I'd ask.
I haven't tackled the Hard or Royal levels yet. I was traumatized by the medium levels! haha! |
