Help! I just downloaded a GIMP Font this morning. But when I checked it now, it was gone! Any tips or help regarding this?

How do you do this on GIMP?
I have GIMP and have done some graphics ( Not very well though, lol )
I would like to know how to 1} Make bubbles or somebody show where the bubble brush is 2} How to paste another layer onto the original graphic, basically animation 3} Similar to question 2, how to make gradient maps the background then put a image on top, but not animation. I mean like colors in background then, put for example, a cropped fairy 4} How to crop a fairy all around the edges, and keeping the wings color, meaning not turning them black or grey. I probably am going to "reopen" my graphic shop or join somebodys ... Maybe Sealily's or Arianna's - but first! I need to get better. Much better, hehe. ~ Sophie Last edited by Sophie Silkpetal; 09-07-2010 at 08:58 PM. |

Sophie, I would suggest googling the info you need and finding a few tutorials to show you how. That's how I taught myself how to do different techniques in Photoshop and Gimp. Good luck!

1. File>Open as layers
2. (Hey, I just open layers when cropping fairy) 3. Zoom your fairy picture in. Then pick free-select tool and start cropping it Last edited by Jezzi; 09-08-2010 at 05:12 PM. Reason: advertising link |

Help Gimp...? Moving Avatars!
I'm having a bit of trouble saving my moving avatars that I make on gimp! I save them and slow the picture down when it moves. I save them as GIF
When I open them they do move but they move far to fast and it's very hard to see them and after looking at them it makes my feel dissy! ( lol ) Has anyone got any idea what I'm doing wrong? |

Did you put a few layers on before you saved them? I do at least 4 to 5 layers for each picture.

Have you adjusted the length of time for each layer, too? You can set each layer (or animation frame) to longer amounts of time so they won't flip through as fast.

I HAVE saved it right so it does move and I HAVE slowed it down on gimp but... when I open it on this it moves REALLY fast!

How many layers did you put with it for gimp? Sometimes that helps Alot.
Just keep trying, if you can't get it, I am sure someone here can help you. If you look through the gimp posts, Molly told me how to do it and it worked. I'd look for you right now, but I have to go. Keep on it, you will get it. |

Thank you Jezzi
No problem Jezzi. I would have done it for Shanna, but I had to leave before. Thank you for looking it up.
