I really don't think they will let us change our talents, I will be surprised if they do.

Stormy, I think they would let us to change our talents! You see the reason, I'm tinker talent but my wings turn orange when I change the wings shape, lol ! I wish they do... I just also wonder they change our sparrow men to fairy. Ugh, I don't like my sparrow men .

I'm fairly sure that the wing color change is just a glitch, because it isn't happening to me... actually I haven't had many glitches at all trying items on at that shop.

I really wouldn't like the option to change talents. There is a reason I chose my Fairies' talents, and yes, it does go against the rules of the Pixie Hollow universe. Same for names; if everyone could change their Fairies' names, recognizing friends would become a nightmare!

I think you're right, Twinklesky. But some fairies wonder they could change talent or even change sparrow men to fairy. I'm not really sure too they want to add that features. I think they not.

Changing our fairy's faces or dramatically changing your fairy's skin tone
is already going to far but changing talents or your name no, gosh I hope not. I really do not think the NC would go that far. I already do not recognize some of my friends because of their dramatic changes they made to their face and skin tone, I mean if you want to be a little tanner or a little lighter(by one shade) that's alright, but going from one end of the color spectrum to the other is something that normal people can not do. If your fairy wants a light tan ok, but anything else is just too much. ~Twi

I think you're right, Twilight. I agree with you. Changing more than face, eye color, skin color, and wings shape is too dramatic change. But why some of the fairies still didn't trust what you said, Twilight?

But isn't the next movie about changing talents? Everyone's talent gets switched...and I think that could be a good message, just like the first movie said "be proud of who you are" and find your unique skills, I think this movie might send the message of "try new things, be creative and accepting of others" like "walk a mile in their shoes" kinda. So in the end maybe Fawn will learn how to plant animal-attracting plants and Rosetta would learn how to work with bugs in her garden, you know? So I'm not sure changing our talents (temporarily or permanently) would be horrific like some say. What's wrong with a water talent who decides to specialize in batter for baking? (a water-baking talent) Or a garden talent who specializes in growing catnip? (a garden-animal talent) Or a tinker who loves to play with the light in shiny lost things (a tinker-light talent) I think the idea that you have to be only a certain way to be a Tinker Talent, for example, is the reason why Tinker Bell's arrival was so difficult - they didn't accept her unique talent. This next movie maybe will send the message to accept others even if they don't fit into a stereotypical "talent mold". Maybe?
So if the Pixie Spa or another feature allowed us to change our talents, or make them more specific like the above examples, would it really be all bad? Riverbow |

On the topic of talents, I would have to say that we can already experience many different talents in the Hollow. When we choose a talent in the first place, it does not make much of a difference in the game-play. We all learn the same talents for the Wilderness in the end, we bake, tailor and tinker. The only difference would be our color in the profile and our fairies' wings. Plus, each talent has a mentor specific to their talent that give Talent Quests to complete - I think it would become very confusing if we could swap between them whenever we wish.

I think that the spa should only be skin changes but not so many choices, wing COLOR changes instead of shape and size, no facial expression or eye changes because in real life you can do that! And I would be very mad if they added talent changes because you should stay true to your inner soul thing. That's all I have to say.

I agree with you, Ruby. I think changing talent like Twilight said is too dramatic. I'm sure never council will not let us to change our talent. Just like Onionleaf said, we will be very confusing if we could change our talent. Also, talent is the natural thing that we could do and we not able to change them. But like Riverbow said, we still can add them. I think that's the reason why never council not let us changing talent because if you water talent and you also talented in baking, you still keeping become water talent that talented in baking.

We all know that the color of your wings are dependent on your Talent.
In case you were interested: * Animal-Talents: Soft Orange * Garden-Talents: Rosy Pink * Light-Talents: Sparkling Yellow * Tinker-Talents: Spring Breeze Green * Water-Talents: Splashy Blue ~ Em

You can use wing changing silly sweets for a short term change to match an outfit. That is enough for me now that my butterfly is bringing them as a gift.
Off topic about the spa... I find that piece of meadow grass that sticks right at the entrance an annoyance when collecting ingredients. |

Oh, I find that meadow grass annoying, too, most of the time when I go to grab it, POOF! I'm taken to the Spa. Can't stand that...
And I must protest very, very, very, VERY greatly that it would be very bad of the Never Council to put in the ability to change your gender - from sparrow man to fairy. I don't even want to think of how bad the Hollow would become if that came about. It's probably rude to say, but if a person wasn't happy with the sparrow man they created, then they shouldn't have created them to begin with; or deleted them before that option to not delete came into play, the News DID warn us a few times before it was implemented. |
