Ask me anything about Pixies, Peter Pan, Captain Hook, Neverland, or anything related
I'd love to have a discussion on anyone who is obsessed with all of the above as I am. Share theories, ask questions, let loose! I love having conversations and I, Puck, as an immortal fairy myself, believe there is almost nothing I don't know about Neverland or its inhabitants. From Captain Hook's pet spider Electra to the first time Tinker Bell met Peter Pan in the Kensington Gardens of London, I'd be happy to elaborate.
I've read, watched, studied, recorded, and collected a significant amount of data about the isalnd and its inhabitants. The only piece of literatre I will NOT include in my research are the works of Dave Barry and Richard Pearson. I absolutely refuse to accept their theories as an explaination for the magic in the world. I do not believe those authors should be allowed to write children's novels; they should stick to their own dumb adult books. -_- If you'd like to argue that with me, feel free. I'd be happy to point out the list of mistakes. I doubt they even read the book or watched the disney movie, considering it was one of their daughters who gave them the idea to write it. |

Puck,
I totally agree. Peter and the Starcatchers was a poor excuse. I just rented the original Peter Pan book (complete with all sorts of illistrations ^^) and can't wait to start reading. Does your literature range include Peter Pan in Scarlett? -Never |

Puck's been off for a while, so I'll tell you, peter pan3002.
Peter met Tink in the Kennsington Gardens when he ran away from his parents. If Puck has a better explanation, I'm sure he'll tell you about it. -Never |

I think my favorite part of the book was...
Either when they were describing the crew of pirates or when I discovered Tink's odd vocabulary. Both parts just kind of stick out, but I also like the part where Peter meets Wendy. -Never |

Breezy, the exact name is, "Peter Pan." It is by J. M. Barrie.
I found a (rather large) copy at my library. It was wonderful! -Never |

Well, yes I do believe they met in Kensington Gardens. *sigh* But of course in the book The Trouble with Tink (I think that was the one, or maybe Quest for the Egg) Disney says Tink met the boy and taught Peter to fly when he was trying to escape a shark. There's the fairy book inconsistancy for you. Just like in this book I'm reading now, Iridessa, Lost at Sea which has 'Pirate' Cove istead of Cannibal Cove, Hook's hook on the LEFT, and Smee is NOT the First Mate of the Jolly Roger... Quote:
Why do you think in the second movie, Peter Pan: Return to Neverland, Tinker Bell could swim when she dove into the water after Peter (to save Jane?) Isn't it that pixies can't swim? Last edited by Tepcat; 05-16-2009 at 03:00 PM. Reason: multiple posts from same user |
