Warriors Fans?
Hey everyone. I'm wondering if any of you are fans of the series "Warriors", by Erin Hunter. I've read the original and new prophecy series, along with Bluestar's Prophecy, Firestar's Quest, and Crookedstar's Promise. I'm also on the third book of The Power of Three.

Warriors are awesome! I've read every single book in the regular Warriors series, except for the newest book, Dawn Of The Clans.

Yes! I have most of the books ;
The main seires ( Including the Sun Path ) Yellowfang's secret. Firestar's quest Bluestar's prohpecy. Most of the mangas except Tigerstar and Sasha, and Ravenpaw's something? dunno. I'm pretty sure that's about it. I really want to get Mistystar's omen.

(I did a thread about this a little while ago!)
Warriors are my favorite series. I've read all of the first series, The New Prophecy and all but the last book in Power of Three(it hasn't come in the mail yet; grrr!). I've also read Firestar's Quest. I own all of those and most of Omen of the Stars(the ones I don't haven't come in the mail yet) and one of the field guides: Secrets of the Clans. I would like to read the other Super Editions(Bluestar's Prophecy the most!) and I would like to try out the Manga books. I really really like Warriors! ~Cat |

I love the Warriors series! I have read all of the books and must say that each of them are amazing. I think it's interesting that Erin Hunter is made up of a couple people and they're all great writers.
I think that my favorite book must be "The Last Hope" because that's really when everything unfolds. My favorite stand-alone book must be "Yellowfang's Secret" because it really tells you Yellowfang's very hard (and sad) life with great detail. I can't wait to read "The Sun Trail" since it's taking place before everything happened and I think it's a great idea! |

The Warrior Cats series is one of my FAVORITE SERIES IN. THE. WORLD. My favorite book is The Last Hope, and second favorite is Bluestar's Prophecy. The Sun Trail is really REALLY good as well, but not as good.

I must admit, I do enjoy the first two arcs (and two of the Special editions), although I have over three arcs-worth. I was obsessed with it for awhile, but...The series fell apart by the third. "Power of Three"? Magic and 'special cats' - too unrealistic, and too many Mary-Sues and Godmod characters. Seriously, Lionblaze can't get injured in battle? Sure, I'll buy that.
I quit after the third book in the fourth arc, but only that far because people kept getting the books for me and I didn't know what else to do but read on. Ever now and then I get some information about what the new books are about, but I honestly stopped caring. I still love the first two arcs, though. Maybe because they were darker, but without being cliche (or at least, as cliche as the other arcs were). The characters were great as well, and fewer cats were going about being stupid for the sake of plot. "Can't harm me, I can't be harmed! I'ma go fight some battles single-handed!" I do still go on the forum site and I have since late 2009. I don't engage in Warrior-themed conversation or clan role-playing, though, since I haven't read the books in awhile - almost a year, I think. A lot of the topics focus on things I can't give a sure answer on anymore, sadly. I used to love the entire series, though. Jayfeather was my favorite character and I often wrote JayXWillow fanfictions, or goofy spoofs where none of the characters were sane (my personal favorite being 'Warriors go to Disney'). Heck, my friend and I wrote songs for 'Warriors: the Musical' - we were dedicated to that fandom. xD |
