A friend of mine handed me Twilight. I had no idea what it was about nor what was it was to become. I kept thinking any best seller has to have a main character die, so I waited for it to be Bella. Well, we all know that didn't happen. Cute book series and a great love story.
I really liked Michael Crighton's books. I'm a big fan of Stephen King as well. I like scary and suspenceful stories. My older daughter and I are reading the Percy Jackson books, and we recently got done with Laura Ingall's story. Although we did not read all nine. I also loved Mists of Avalon, and the 'Rings' books. Another that made quite an impression on me was, 'My Year of Meats'. Meat eaters might want to skip that one.

Uh, there are so many books I love...
But the one closest to my heart from my childhood is The Little Prince (de Saint-Exupery). There are way too many books I love at this age, so there would be no point listing them all here... |
