I was still deep in thought, planning to leave that night, when I heard footsteps on the other side of a thicket. I silently crept over to a tree, then stepped out, drawing my bow in a single, swift motion.
I stare coldly at the startled centaur my arrow is aimed at, and he freezes in place.

"Calaeron, don't shoot at him. He's our guest." Saria says lightly landing on my arrow, then she flips and transforms into a dryad, landing on the centaur. She looks into his eyes.
"Unless he's a Rameon, that is!" She turned back into a fairy, then flitted around the clearing a few times.
"Um... no. I'm not." the centaur quickly said nervously, still eyeing my arrow.
I narrow my eyes at him, "Alright.... Saria, go inform Cress and Rilla of our... visitor." I say, lowering my bow, but keeping it ready. "Maye, I know you are there. You might as well come out now." I say, and she sheepishly comes out of the trees.

Moments later, Cress and Rilla appear.
"Well well well. What have we here?" Cress asks, crossing her arms.
