I'm not so sure that there has
ever been a time when books were
unpopular. Of course you will have some individuals that just do not like to read, and that is perfectly fine. My husband loves to read the newspaper everyday, but will not pick up a book to save him. LOL I think that your friend is just one of those that doesn't prefer to spend his down time reading. With the major boom of e-books and apps available for individuals to bring their reading material on-the-go, I believe books will always be loved. Now, speaking of those newspapers that my husband reads ... now
THAT industry is sinking fast. With everything being online now, most people get the news that they want electronically.

I absolutely agree with you, Twi. While I do have and use my Kindle often, I prefer to actually hold a book in hand, turning the pages with anticipation of what is to come.
