I, too, have been wondering about what projects Disney Interactive have been planning since the closure of their online games. Their reason for the closure was stated as wanting to redirect their focus to mobile gaming, but I haven't heard much about any releases up until now, although I should really pay more attention to their news. Apparently they're going to introduce Kingdom Hearts to mobile devices? Wow, I wonder how that will even work.
But back on topic, sounds like a second attempt at a VMK-like game! I hope it won't be used merely as a promoter for the theme parks (which I'm guessing it will be). Sure, I'm glad to hear that they're releasing new games, but I feel like there's not a lot of potential for mobile games to grow and expand into something more meaningful.
Still, let us know about any other news that might appear! Looks like the game will be released some time this year, so not a long wait at all.
