Question?

I recently had yo get a new computer my old one got some kind of virus and did not even let me on to the internet. So I went from a Dell PC to an Apple iMac. And so far I love it. I just have a question I have looked it up online and it seems so easy but they do not tell you want to do when nothing happens. I want to load up on my computer my Adobe Photoshop Elements 10. I have it on discs, there are 3 discs online it tells me to put in disc 2 for a Mac and then hit the install button but no button some up. I found it as a folder and I clicked on it and got more folders. it is most likely something very easy that I am just not thinking about doing. But a Mac is so different from a PC so I am still getting used to it. If any of you have Photoshop installed on a Mac I would appreciate any help at all.

Thank you,
~Twi

Don't worry Twilight! You're doing it right - there are a lot of folders for Mac photoshop versions. (I have elements 9)
I'll try not to be as vague, because I don't know what your folders are named.

After you open it up, you will have two folders: Adobe Photoshop 10 and Plug ins.
Click on Adobe photoshop 10, which leads you to a new page of folders.
(Just checking halfway, you've already installed it right? If not, click the red folder to install)
Then if it is installed, the first two things you will see in the new group of folders are your photoshops! Your original, and your back-up (You probably will not need the backup)
Just double click on the first photoshop and it will open and be ready for use.

If you'd like to keep photoshop in your dock so you can always access it, while the application is open, hold down on it with your mouse/trackpad and a popup called options will appear above it. Without letting go of your click(Stay holding down) drag your mouse to the top which should be called "keep in this dock" or something around that.

Hope this helps! If not, there are always tutorials on the adobe website. :Star:

Jenny thank you thank you so much. I was so worried that if I clicked on the wrong folder something bad would happen. I got it up and running. It looks different on my Mac than it did on the PC. I know if I could not get it running I would miss making graphics.
