Disney Fairies in Disney Infinty

I thought I'd make a new thread and maybe get some active discussions/ideas going! So as most know, Tinker Bell was added to Disney Infinity last year in the 2.0 edition. Also, a Pixie Hollow terrain and sky theme were added, as were decorations for trees and whatnot. And if you look in the Hall of Heroes, you'll notice Tink is classified under the Disney Fairies brand, which leads me to believe we'll get the rest of the fairies like Periwinkle (who has a costume character you can place in the Toy Box), Vidia, Rosetta, etc. And a Pixie Hollow play set and characters are requested a lot.

Anyway, does anyone else play the game? I only play as Tinker Bell, and right now am making my own Pixie Hollow toy boxes, my first being inspired by the Pixie Hollow Games Derby Cart race. I plan to make some more cool and exciting ones as well. I think there is such huge potential for the Fairies in this game, with costume power discs, vehicles added like Tink's balloon carrier and the derby carts, new characters obviously, and things like interior decorations.

I've never played the game, but I'd be interested in knowing if they will be adding more fairies from Pixie Hollow to it. :tinkerbell:

& I agree, we need more discussion here!

I have not played but am interested in what it is about.
the commercials make it seem that you only build things. Are there levels to play too?
Cause I would prefer that to the building.

Building your own world is a part of it,mbut there are also HUNDREDS of other toy boxes you can play created by other users and chosen by the Infinity team. There are a bunch of things you can do, with some toy boxes being races, others being obstacle courses or arena battles. If you buy the Toy Box Starter Pack you also get two Toy Box Game Discs, which are pre-built worlds with a set game mode. The two you get are Brave Forest Siege (a dungeon crawler type game with 10 levels, my personal favorite) and the Stitch Tower Defense game.

And yes,it's a safe bet the other fairies will be added in future game releases. Tink is branded under the Disney Fairies franchise, which implies we'll get more characters from said franchise.

*Should probably say this first before everything else: I own Disney Infinity 1.0 (console and PC) as well as Disney Infinity 2.0 (console and PC). The PC version's free, though, and comes with the console version, so that's how I have that... Now, then...*

The funny thing is, I was expecting Fawn to be released with Legend--that was what they did with Anna/Elsa and Hiro/Baymax characters--both released in early November of 2013 and 2014, respectively. Plus, I haven't seen any other spots for any other Disney Fairies characters while exploring the Disney Hall of Heroes--just Tink. Then again, it's harder to tell which characters fit on which pedestals in Infinity 2.0...
Plus, they've already proved they can add new characters digitally (Sam and Quorra from TRON: Legacy were recently released for digital platforms only, despite their pedestals being on my console game), so... don't give up hope?
The Disney Infinity 2.0 App is free to download, by the way.

You won't see any more characters for 2.0, they said they're done releasing characters for it. That's why I said expect some more fairies in future additions, like 3.0.

It's a console and computer game. If you know Skylanders or Amiibo, it's like them. It's also a little bit like Minecraft if you know that game.

You buy real tiny statues of characters from Disney movies. Then you place them on part of the game and on your screen they will move where you guide them. They can go on adventures or build things in their world.

 Oh thank you StormyLightningberry for answering my question! I had seen the little statues in the store and wondered what they were, but now I know. :DancingStar:
