Something good, something bad, something meh, something bleh

List:

a) 1 thing you're good at that you love doing

b) 1 thing you're bad at that but you still love doing

c) 1 thing you're good at but hate doing

d) 1 thing you're bad at that you hate doing (but have to?)

---

Here's mine:
a. I'm good at learning other languages and I love using them to meet new people and learn about their culture - straight from them!:ButterflysPlaying:
b. I'm kind of bad organizing, but I really enjoy having an organized desk/backpack/purse/etc...:Singing:
c. I can drive very well, but it's scary to me and so stressful.
d. I'm so bad at cleaning and I will never enjoy it - only the end result!:Scared:

popcorn1234 08-12-2014 05:53 PM

Um, let's see...
 I love to draw and write. Sometimes I get these bursts of inspiration, and get pulled in so much that I usually won't stop doing what I'm doing (drawing, writing, talking to myself about the idea :Innocent:) until I feel like I've exhausted the idea and its potential. Or until I've written it down somewhere, if I haven't already.
 Being spontaneous. I'm one of those people who likes to plan things out before I say or do them, and so doing something crazy or weird or funny can be exhilarating, but also nerve-wracking at the same time.
 I'm good at math and science. Mainly because I ask tons of questions when I don't understand something, but because of my good grades, people assume that I'm "gifted" with math. Still hate doing it, though.
:Popcorn:Gym class. Everything about gym class I hated (unless it was something really fun that required no skill at all). Of course, this is coming from someone who can't run, hit, catch, or aim for her life, so yeah. Gym class. :GrossedOut:

fairybacon 08-12-2014 06:52 PM

:139: I'm good at painting scenery pictures . c: My favorite work of art I did is my own version of the Starry Night by Van Gogh.
:139: I'm bad at doing computer art ;p . It's quite fun though.
:139: Like Popcorn I'm really good at math (algebra) but nowadays I just hate doing it ;/
:139: I'm bad at singing and I hate having to do it in chorus .-.

Mia_Sparkle_Fairy 08-12-2014 08:54 PM

:Illuminate: I'm very good at drawing, it's fun~! :P
:Illuminate: I suck at sports, but they're still fun.
:Illuminate: I'm good at cooking but I don't like doing it. I prefer baking. :/
:Illuminate: I'm bad at finding details. I prefer to look at the big picture. Dx

Jenny Hollybell 08-13-2014 12:41 AM

:PHFBlueBerry: I am good at irish dancing and won't stop dancing until my feet break. Literally.

:PHFBlueBerry: Singing. I sing all the time but I don't have the greatest voice. :Embarrassed:

:PHFBlueBerry: I'm bad at computer graphics and art, but I still do them anyway. I guess it's a way to improve...? :Teasing:

:PHFBlueBerry: I'm not the greatest math student, (though I manage above 88%s) and I absolutely HATE math!! :GrossedOut:

Alexa Diamondflower 08-13-2014 12:47 AM

: I love riding my bike and going online and playing video games
:Excited:: Playing with my sister, although I always have fun in the end
:Innocent:: Singing and piano
: Besides school (which I'm not bad at), nothing at the moment (I bet I'll think of something)

Rainbowswirls 08-13-2014 01:11 AM

:bananapirate: Art. I love art, though I usually get messy when painting.
:bananapirate: Whistling and playing piano. (I never took piano lessons, but I have my very own keyboard - it plays piano sounds and guitar sounds. My grandparents bought it for me at Christmas.)
:bananapirate: Dancing. I used to love dancing, but I've decided I don't really like dancing that much anymore, though I'm a really good dancer.
:bananapirate: Like Alexa, nothing at the moment. I might find something soon, though.

We've got a lot of artists here! I do graphic art too, it's so incredibly difficult T^T My lineart never looks quite the way I want it to. :(

I notice a ton of people here also hate math... Yes... good... The plan is working! *cackles*

Thanks for this interesting thread, Kairatera! It was fun learning a bit about other pixies, and it really got me thinking about who I am!

• I'm good at reading aloud, and I just adore reading novels and stories aloud for people!
• I'm awful at busing since I have a bad sense of direction. Nonetheless, I love taking the bus!
• I'm good at public speaking, but I hate how nerve-racking and stressful is can be!
• I'm terrible at avoiding the Pixie Hollow Forums and I can't bear to be away. I just love this forum family so much!

Haha, we really do have a lot of artists here! For uniqueness' sakes, I didn't put art in my list... Though for the record, I do love art!
It's so interesting reading this thread and learning a little bit about each of you.
Heehee, Ruby, I totally agree with your last statement! :Teasing:

:AF2FlowerE012: I really, really love drama and acting, and I've gotten pretty good at it.
:AF2FlowerE012: I love having a sense of humor and enjoy all things funny, but I'm terrible at telling jokes. I lose track of how many times I mess up punch lines!
:AF2FlowerE012: I'm actually fairly good at arguing - I can definitely hold my ground in a disagreement - but I have zero desire to do it.
:AF2FlowerE012: I'm really bad at giving my dog baths... And I definitely don't like doing it. It's very humiliating when you end up being soapier than the dog at the end of it.

Thank you so much to the very talented Harmony, Alyce, and Ruby! :heartbeat:

Hmm... let me think.

:Star: Dancing, without a doubt! A few other things that I have a huge passion for are hairstyling, nail art, photography, and gaming.❤️
:Star: Drawing and painting, I guess. The two of them are the only ones I can think of at the moment.
:Star: Studying for tests. My memory is pretty good, but studying can sometimes be so grueling and stressful.
:Star: Sports, haha. Sports will definitely never be my forte!

Kairatera 08-14-2014 07:15 AM

I can't stand public speeches simply because I most likely will never need to make one. And if I do, it won't be as often as I have to for class! XD
I also can't stand writing papers/essays, when I most likely will never do that ever again after college. :p

Onionleaf 08-17-2014 05:22 AM

These were trickier to think of than I thought! I really enjoyed reading everyone else's posts, it's great to hear that we have so many creative pixies here.

Good: I have many hobbies that I like, simply because when I find something fun, I am willing to practice it.
Although I can't say I'm very "good" at it, I really enjoy doing things to do with music, like participating in a choir or arranging piano scores. My former piano teacher gives me some of her students to teach when she needs the extra pair of hands before the music exams, and even though I'm still quite new at it and am no music master, I am really enjoying working with kids of all ages and helping them out individually. :Singing:

Bad: Meeting new people is always interesting, but it's so difficult to keep the conversation moving. I'm quite shy around people that I don't know too well, so I prefer to keep my mouth shut, but am always keen on listening to what they have to say. I guess conversation skills just come with practice :Innocent:

Meh: I suppose studying, to an extent. I always strive for the highest marks and am always happy to help out others with their preparation. There's always that wonderful sense of satisfaction when you earn those A's, but at the same time I'm already wishing to see my degree finally finished and start using the knowledge that I've gained out in the work environment. I think uni is great, but not enough to want to stay there for more than 3 years, sorry! :p

Bleh: Definitely any sort of public speaking - presentations, speeches, the like! I can never convince myself to keep calm so it's always a nerve-racking experience. And yes, I have to do at least one of these every semester. :smiley30:

RiverLunaMorningvalley 08-22-2014 02:29 AM

What an interesting game to play! Thanks, Kairatera!

:PHFBlueBerry: I am good at writing and it still remains the light of my life. I just can't even describe what I feel like whilst writing and it helps me calm down so much. (I don't know if this means anything, but when I was a little first grader, I got some award for writing this detailed piece on history. Now that I look back, I realize I got a tonne of things wrong, but it wasn't even an assignment. I just wrote it for some weird reason :P )

:PHFBlueBerry: I am really bad at dancing, yet whether its to embarrass someone or I'm just bored, I do weird dances a lot. Especially when I'm home alone. Then I just waltz around like I'm in a ballet. But when it comes to choreography and dance moves, I am awful. I cannot do any dance moves.

:PHFBlueBerry: I am really good at being optimistic, but sometimes it can be for the worse. Take the closing of Pixie Hollow Online, for example. I kept telling my self things from "It's a glitch!" to "Haha! They're bluffing!" And now, look where it's got me. Oh well. It's better to be happy!

:PHFBlueBerry: Like Eve and Julie, I stink when it comes to gym class. During a basketball unit in school, my teacher let us practice and my friend and I just ended up chasing each other around trying to shock each other when we found out exactly how much static electricity those basketballs had. (But, hey, the science teacher would be proud!)

Petunialotustwinkle14 08-22-2014 07:28 PM

:Singing: I am good at dance classes and singing, and I love to do both those things.

:Singing: Many sports, but they are still fun to play.

:Singing: Doing tests. I despite them, yet I get A's almost all the time.

:Singing: Cleaning the litter box.
