Pinecone Pop Tips
HI there! I just love the new Pinecone Pop and hope you do. too! The High Score requirement is 100,000 points. I must say that the rewards are meager at best ... BUT I have yet to actually finish the game! I got to Level 30 and lost ...
Anyhoo, lets post our tips and tricks here! 1. Bounce off anything you can! 2. Use your bonus ice things (Leaf Extensions, 3 X pinecones, Flappers, etc.) 3. Try to aim for the basket if you are not trying to hit more than one thing. 4. Try to clear all ice for 2000 bonus. examples: http://www.pixiehollowforums.com/for...ictureid=32927 Do not aim for the center of the circle, aim just off center to shoot towards another target. http://www.pixiehollowforums.com/for...ictureid=32928 The more targets you hit, the higher multiplier you get! Yeah! http://www.pixiehollowforums.com/for...ictureid=32929 Use your bonus ice like 3 X Pinecones or even better (below) 3 x Pinecone with fire power!! Those are some great tips Lila.
I really do love this game it reminds me of Peggle a game I have for my computer. It does not give you alot of rewards, but it does give acorns which is the next Royal I am working on. Have not gotten the high score yet only played it once. Good Luck to everyone, ~Twi |

Great tips!
Also, if the bulbs land into the basket, you get 50 extra points. And if you get several pink ice in a row, you get extra points. There is even a long shot bonus if the pine cone bounces and breaks ice on the opposite side. |
Yeah, I forgot to mention that, too. I have Peggle for the PS3 and my hubby taught me all the tricks and I finished the whole thing a while ago. I love Peggle!

Oh man, this game is fun! :D I sat through my first time playing it and ended up with just over 107,000 points to nab me that pretty High Score badge! :) THINGS TO LOOK FOR: :Sunflower: :Sunflower: HotShot Powerups! The best way to get the most bang for your pop is to try and get the HotShot bonus BEFORE using the 3x Pinecone bonus, that way (as picture above from Lila) you get 3 awesome flaming Pinecones! :D My favorite level by far is the first Royal level, the first time I played this I used a Hot Shot and got BOTH 3x bonuses, resulting in 6 FLAMING PINECONES! Needless to say, I shot up nearly 8,000 points in that ONE SHOT. :Distract: :Distract: Bumpers! They're only there for a couple turns, but they are incredibly useful! Not only do they keep your pinecone in the air longer, they also toss it in directions you normally wouldn't be able to reach! What a great addition! :Singing: :Singing: LEAF EXTENSIONS! In the later levels, these are ESSENTIAL. The basket becomes smaller, almost mocking you with a "Nya nya!" type of expression as it quickly glides across the bottom of your screen. Get this bonus first if it is the only bonus available, otherwise get the HOTSHOT and 3X bonuses and THEN get the extensions! :Cake: :Cake: Flowers in the basket!! Try your best to time the flowers drop into the basket! Its only 50 points extra, but if you get 4 or 5 of them in there at a time....that adds up quickly! :Rainbow: :Rainbow: SHOOT FOR THE BASKET!!! If there is an easy straight shot to the basket, especially with a HOT SHOT, go for it! You'll get an extra pinecone AND rack up some serious points! :TinkSmilie: :TinkSmilie: Above all, HAVE FUN! :sigs-object-042: This is called a GAME for a reason! ;) |

How many levels? I got only 78000 and lost but forgot what level it was.
anyone remember so I know to keep going or start again. I am not good at this game. I am going to try my old slow computer and see if that helps.:Sad: any more tips?? |

I don't know if anyone here has ever played pool, but very simular. Or like the movie Tommie, ( song ) "Im the Pin ball Wizard" Moving right along It's a great game! Thx for the tips Lila, I'll have to try them out. ~wink~

The one thing that helped get my score so high was that if you clear all the ice including the blue ones you get a bonus of 2,000 points. So if you have alot of acorns try to clear everything before going for the last pink one!
And the green ice for the triple pine cone can really get your score up there, if they bounce right. ~Twi |
